Hartzler was first asked about the leak itself. She replied, ‘It is outrageous and it is intentional. It is an attempt to intimidate the justices to change their opinion. Clearly, it sounds like things are going a way for life and for the constitution and the justices are saying hey, nine people unelected in black robes should not be making this decision. This isn't in the constitution. This should be left up to the elected representatives and that sounds like a very positive decision in my mind. But, when this leak happened, you had an attempt by a liberal clerk to cause them to change their mind and we know in the past that justices sometimes do change their minds before it's actually published. So, I think that their first goal is to try to put pressure on, perhaps Chief Justice Roberts, to weigh in on this, perhaps some of the others to change their opinion. But then also, it's an attempt to influence the 2022 fall elections because, as you indicated, the Democrats don't have anything to talk about. The American people are sad because of all of the terrible policies, the economic policies, inflation, the border, you name it. And Yet That's What The Pelosi Bill Would Do, Even Beyond That.” “Well, the House, unfortunately, has already passed a very, very extreme abortion bill supported by Nancy Pelosi earlier this year that would not just codify Roe versus Wade. It goes far beyond that. It allows abortion up until the day before birth, and it does away with every state protection that's out there waiting periods or the right for a woman to to have more information about health ramifications or sonograms or parental notification to all these different life protecting provisions that various states have passed. It does away with everything. And it would make America's federal law in every 50 states the same as only seven other countries in the world, including China and North Korea, that allow abortion up until the moment of birth. And that's what this does. And so that has passed the House. It is over in the Senate now. And if they were to change the filibuster rules there, which some Democrats are calling for, potentially in the Senate, and it would do away with all of the state law and the that we are doing now. And so not only to return to elected officials at state level, but at the federal level, where if the Democrats had their way, they would codify abortion every moment up until the moment of birth. It is horrific. It is extreme to the max. And the American people do not believe this or support this, because most polls that I have seen, over 60 percent of Americans believe that abortion should either be illegal or returned to the states. Over 75 percent do not support abortion in the third trimester. And yet that's what the Pelosi bill would do, even beyond that. Hartzler was first asked for her reaction to the SCOTUS ruling. She responded, ‘t's a monumental victory for life, as well as the constitution, and I'm so grateful that the court stood up for the constitution and said that these decisions should be left up to the elected representatives. I’m so proud to be from Missouri, that we were the first state to make it official that our law here is that all life is valuable and all babies have a plan and purpose and deserve to live.; Hartzler was then asked if she expects Missouri’s abortion ban to remain in place. Hartzler replied, ‘Oh absolutely. The court has said that it’s up to the elected representatives and the representatives of Missouri passed a law a couple of years ago saying that if Roe versus Wade was overturned, that we would be a state that embraces life at every stage, and I’m so grateful for that. You know, we have lost over 63 million Americans to abortion since Roe versus Wade came down in 1973 and that is just a tragedy. I mean, what could those lives have meant to us, to our world? [VIDEO] When Asked If Missouri’s Abortion Law Had An Exemption For Rape Or Incest Vicky Hartzler Said “No, There’s Not, And My Position On That Is That No Child Should Be Killed For The Sin Of Their Father.” “Hartzler was then asked clarifying questions about Missouri’s abortion ban and if a woman trying to get an abortion would have to leave the state. Hartzler responded, ‘Unless the life of the mother is in danger, that is the policy here. But, we hope those women instead will go to a crisis pregnancy center nearby and get support and learn more about the development of the baby.’ Hartzler was then asked if there is any accommodation for rape or incest in Missouri. Hartzler responded, ‘No, there’s not, and my position on that is that no child should be killed for the sin of their father. That child is precious and deserves to live as well. [VIDEO] Hartzler Said Joe Biden Was Going Against The Will Of The People In Response To His Decision To Expand Access To Abortions And Contraceptives. “Well, it means we have a President who's going against the will of the people and the will of the Supreme Court, continuing to promote an all-hands-on-deck approach to try to promote abortion and death for babies in this country, and it's very, very sad. Some of the provisions here are concerning. He wants to make sure that women have information to where they can access abortion. Well, I have sponsored a bill called the Women's Right to Know Act, which would give women the accurate information about the dangers and concerns of abortion. Why doesn't the President promote information about adoption or more positive outcomes to an unplanned pregnancy? This executive order also is gathering together and calling for free pro bono legal assistance for both the women and the abortionist. Well, why doesn't the President promote free legal services for women who have been damaged due to abortion or people, nurses, and doctors, who, against their conscience, are being forced to perform abortions? I mean, the President should be promoting these things. The executive order also requires that they focus on the safety and promoting the safety of abortion clinics and abortionists. ¶ Vicky Hartzler Supported A Federal Abortion Law
VIDEO] Vicky Hartzler Said She Would Vote For A Federal Abortion Ban. “Hartzler was then asked about abortion and guns and if there is any common ground that can be reached. Hartzler responded, ‘I think we should all come alongside the expectant mothers in this situation and support women during their pregnancy. I think we can all support adoption. I'm part of the Adoption and Foster Care Caucus, it's a bipartisan caucus. There are more positive options for an unplanned pregnancy.’ Hartzler was then asked if she would support a federal ban on abortion and if she would vote in support of a federal ban if it came up in the Senate. Hartzler replied, ‘Yes. Yes.
